Call for Volunteers — Help us celebrate 50 years strong!
One year from now, our union turns 50 — and we want to celebrate a half-century of solidarity in a way that honours our history and members.
To make it happen, we’re putting together a special 50th Anniversary project, and we’re looking for volunteers who want to be part of it. Whether you’re a history buff, a creative party planner, or just enthusiastic about our union, there’s a role for you. This is a great chance to contribute, collaborate, and help shape a milestone moment we can all be proud of.
We are seeking representation from all of URFA’s bargaining units for this project — Campion members, First Nations University of Canada members, Luther members, and University of Regina members are all invited to contribute in a way that feels meaningful for your bargaining unit. We are also inviting retired URFA members to participate in honouring the legacy of our union!
Our first project meeting will be on Thursday, January 22 at 10 a.m. via Zoom. We’re starting at the ideas stage — so bring your best proposals to the table!
If you’re interested in being part of this landmark project, please email urfa@uregina.ca by Friday January 16 at 5:00 p.m. and let us know your name, email, and cell phone number.
