Election Results — Introducing Your New Executive Committee

URFA is pleased to announce the results of our union’s lead­er­ship elec­tions and wel­come the incom­ing Exec­u­tive Committee.

Pres­i­dent — Roz Kelsey has been elect­ed as our union’s pres­i­dent by the gen­er­al mem­ber­ship for the 2026 – 2028 term.

Trea­sur­er — Young­soo Kim has been re-elect­ed as our union’s trea­sur­er by the gen­er­al mem­ber­ship for the 2026 – 2028 term.

Vice-Pres­i­dent APT — William Hea­man has been elect­ed as a vice-pres­i­dent by the gen­er­al mem­ber­ship for the 2026 – 2028 term.

Mem­ber-at-Large APT — Tri­na Joseph has been re-elect­ed as a mem­ber-at-large at the April 7^th Coun­cil of Rep­re­sen­ta­tives meet­ing for the 2026 – 2027 term.

The rest of the Exec­u­tive Com­mit­tee is as follows:

Vice-Pres­i­dent Aca­d­e­m­ic — Alyssa Hyduk (cur­rent term 2025 – 2027)

Griev­ance Offi­cer — appoint­ed by the Exec­u­tive Com­mit­tee fol­low­ing receipt of advice from the Griev­ance Com­mit­tee in May

Mem­ber-at-Large Aca­d­e­m­ic — vacant, to be elect­ed via the Coun­cil of Representatives

Equi­ty Offi­cer — appoint­ed by the Exec­u­tive Com­mit­tee fol­low­ing receipt of advice from the Equi­ty Com­mit­tee at their next meeting

Ses­sion­al Rep­re­sen­ta­tive — vacant, elect­ed via the Ses­sion­al Advo­ca­cy Com­mit­tee in May
