Our Union, Our Future — President's Town Hall for APT Members

You’re invit­ed to join me on Wednes­day March 18 at 1:00 p.m. for Our Union, Our Future: A Town Hall for APT Mem­bers focused on an impor­tant con­ver­sa­tion about our union’s future — build­ing a more inclu­sive iden­ti­ty for our union and explor­ing a poten­tial name change that reflects who we are togeth­er today.

This town hall is part of URFA’s ongo­ing Inclu­sive Iden­ti­ty project. Over the next cou­ple of months we will be wrap­ping up the con­sul­ta­tion phase of this project, which includ­ed a mem­ber-wide sur­vey, Exec­u­tive and COR dis­cus­sions, and pre­sen­ta­tions to the mem­ber­ship at our Gen­er­al Mem­ber­ship Meet­ings.

This is your union and your voice mat­ters — and we want­ed to pro­vide an APT-spe­cif­ic space for you to share your thoughts on our union’s name and iden­ti­ty. This Town Hall will be an open forum to share ideas, pro­vide feed­back, and help shape the direc­tion of our col­lec­tive iden­ti­ty.

Togeth­er, we can ensure our union’s name and vision rep­re­sent the strength, diver­si­ty, and val­ues of our entire mem­ber­ship. We hope you’ll join us and be part of this impor­tant dis­cus­sion.
